Pricing Update
First and foremost, thank you for trusting me with your dog. I do not take that trust lightly and work one-on-one with your pet to give them my undivided attention and ensure their safety throughout their visit to the shop. Providing that attention limits the number of dogs who can visit the shop each day, and to maintain this one-on-one commitment - in addition to increases in cost of supplies - I need to increase the price of grooming services. The changes can be summed up as a $5 increase for dogs under 25lbs, from $55 to $60; and haircuts increasing $5 for each coat type. Here is a link to the pricing page of website. Cancellation Policy
Clients who cancel within 24 hours of their appointment will be required to provide a 50% deposit for future bookings.
Matted Dog Policy
Due to the increased risk to both dog and groomer, dogs with significant matting will be charged a fee depending on the severity of the case up to $50. If a matting fee is warranted, the fees will be discussed during the pre-groom consultation.
Late Drop-off & Pick-up Policy
In order to provide one-on-one service for each customer, timely drop-off & pick-ups are very important for this shop. Each appointment drop-off time will be confirmed the day prior and pick-up times will be provided during the groom. After 20 minutes from the provided time, a $1/minute charge will be added to the bill. It is not my wish to implement this charge so please communicate if you are running late.
Dog Sex
I confirm my pet is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, de-wormed and de-flead.*
I will not hold the groomer responsible or liable in the even grooming reveals a pre-existing condition, which may need to be treated before grooming can commence*
I understand the groomer will do their best to follow my requests and/or instructions, but in certain situations more or less may need to be cut than was requested, e.g. because of matting or knots.*
In some situations of significant matting, especially where it is interfering with the pet's comfort and/or making it difficult to groom them without injury, we may determine that shaving is the only safe option for the pet. In this case, we would call to get your permission before any shaving is done or cover in the pre-groom consultation.*
I understand if fleas are found on my pet, the groomer will need to give them a flea bath at my expense.*
I understand a muzzle may be used if necessary. Muzzling protects both the pet and the groomer and can calm stressed animals. *
I understand having my pet groomed carries risk. Although the utmost care is taken to prevent injury, grooming instruments can be sharp and accidents can occur such as nicks, cuts, scratches, piercing, etc. We will inform you of any incident, no matter how small, and if necessary, we will transport your pet to their vet for further care. *
I understand veterinary bills caused by serious matting, pre-existing conditions, aggressive or difficult temperament, or from the pet being elderly, are my responsibility as a pet owner.*
