For My Dogs is a full-service grooming salon named after how we live our life - for our dogs. Our dogs inspired the business, and their unique handling instructions helped us tailor services to accommodate them, as well as our own occasionally over-the-top nature when it comes to what is best for our pups. Those pups, a staffy and a pug, get along great with each other but do not do well with other animals and are anxious when separated from us. Knowing our dogs’ disposition makes taking them to a new location, with a new person, a nerve-wracking experience.

 

Those experiences guided our service to be one-on-one with the groomer, with no interaction with other dogs. Our service is appointment based, informing pet owners on precise drop-off and pick-up times to avoid situations where dogs who are not familiar with each other are near one another. Our salon is designed to comfortably accommodate dogs by providing a one-on-one, crate-free experience from start to finish. We believe crate-free grooming is best to minimize stress in what can be an otherwise stressful situation. Basically, a place where we could feel comfortable dropping off our hyperactive and overwhelming staffy.

While our grooming experience is tailored to ensure pets and pet parents have peace of mind in their animal’s safety and well-being, we aim to deliver top notch haircuts and squeaky-clean pups as well. We take time getting an understanding of pet parents desired look, can make AKC breed-specific recommendations, and prioritize the health and function of each dog’s coat as well as developing good rapport with your dog.
